Unplug MIDI cables (if any) from Synesthesia prior to running the update.

Use the latest version of SymmLab editor to perform the update. Uninstall older version​.

Create backups of your presets prior to performing firmware updates. Navigate to Menu >> Backup on the SymmLab.

• Install SymmLab.
• Turn off the pedal.
• Hold both footswitches and plug in power. The screen should show firmware update mode.
• Connect the pedal to your computer with a USB cable.
• Open SymmLab, press Connect, then click “Browse firmware file” and select the .fdt file.
• Click “Update Now” and wait until it finishes. Don’t unplug or power off
• When the update is completed, exit the firmware update mode, then continue with "Library Update". Menu >> Update Library.
• When done, unplug everything and power on the pedal normally.
